Mission 6 Level 4: Unhallowed Ground

The "Anointing Ceremony" for the Super Soldiers is reported to be taking place somewhere near the chateau. According to the Operation: Resurrection project book recovered from the "X-Labs", the three Super Soldiers are to be "anointed" by Marianna Blavatsky whereby they will be transformed into Dark Knights. According to the project book the presence of these "Dark Knights" is necessary for the final phase of their plan; to raise Heinrich I from his 1000 year old burial site. You must, if possible, stop the ceremony before it begins and destroy the super soldiers before their transformation.

If their transformation does take place there will be no way of judging how much more powerful they will be, or if it will even be possible to stop them. Also, there will still be a number of SS Paranormal Operatives in and around the chateau; ensure that you eliminate them.

Now that you've fought your way to the grounds behind the chataeu, it's time to put a stop to the insane plans Deathshead has. If the cabal of Elite Guards manages to complete the ceremony, the war could be completely lost and the Nazi army could become unstopable. Start the level by marching forward and clearing the courtyard of all soldiers. You will see a large metal gate in front of you. Once the area is clear, open the gate and head out into the foggy woods beyond (foggy woods are NEVER good news).

Heading to the right will take you to a couple of guards, as well as a guard station holding a couple of rounds of ammunition for the Tesla Cannon. Heading to the right will take you towards your objectives. Head forward, but be ready to get sniped at by an Elite Guard up on the ridge to you left. Take her out with your own sniper rifle, then climb the ridge to your right (the one just opposite the broken wall.

At the top of the ridge you will come to a small hut guarded by several Elite Guards. Take them out, then look inside the hut for health and grenades. Once clear, head down the slope and follow the valley some more. Watch out for snipers!

Eventually you will come to an area with the ruins of a small building. Take out any Elite Guards in the area, but then watch youself! There is an Elite Guard with a sniper rifle hidden in the trees to you left. Watch for the flash of her rifle when she fires, then counter with your own rifle or Panzerfaust. Once the area is clear, march forward and take out the entrenched Elite Guards you find. There is a stationary machine gun here that you can use to mop up any other enemies in the area (two more Elite Guards will spawn behind you once you reach the gun).

The bridge in front of you will collapse when you reach it, but make sure to grab the Panzerfaust rockets up on the ledge. Since the bridge is obviously of no help here, you'll have to backtrack a bit. Head back out to the stationary machine gun, but then turn to you left and follow the ravine. A couple of Elite Guards will put up a fight around a car midway through, so take them down and proceed through the stone archway. The site for the annointing ceremony is just on the other side.

This is a really tough fight. You'll have to take out TWO full Super Soldiers before you can proceed on with the rest of the level. Besides, it's imperative to destroy these creatures so they can't be used to complete the ceremony. There is abundant health, ammo, and armor in the four corners of the square battlefield, so make good use of it. Use the pillars for cover, laying grenade and dyanmite traps for the Super Soldiers, or just gunning them down with the Venom Gun and the Panzerfaust. Whatever it takes. Once both of the Super Soldiers are dead, exit thr level through the hole in the middle of the ceremony site.
